<대지선정>

을숙도라는 대지는 도시와 도시의 사이에 자리잡은 자연의 일부입니다. 저는 이 을숙도를 대지분석을 통해 도시와 도시를 이어주는 다리이면서 자연으로서 역할을 하고 있기에 도시와 자연의 경계로 인지했습니다. 추가적으로 을숙도는 하굿둑을 기준으로 남쪽은 철새가 쉬었다가는 곳, 북쪽에는 사람이 쉬었다 가는 곳으로서 대지가 가지는 힘이 굉장히 크다고 생각을 했습니다. 그래서 이 대지를 선정했습니다.

현대사회에서 묘지시설은 필수적인 시설이지만 혐오시설로 분류되며 도시에서 그리고 우리의 곁에서 최대한 떨어뜨려 보이지 않는 곳, 쉽게 찾아 갈 수 없는 곳에 건축되었습니다.

사실 묘지라는 곳은 우리가 사랑했던, 사랑하는 사람이 묻힌 곳으로 묘지시설을 배척하는 것은 곳 내가 사랑하는 사람을 배척하는 것과 같다고 생각을 했습니다. 이러한 모습은 묘지가 눈에 보여지는 것이 가장 큰 이유라고 생각했습니다. 그래서 저는 보이지 않는 무덤, '산골장'이라는 장지방식만을 이용하는 추모공원을 제안합니다.

The site of Eulsukdo is a part of nature located between the city and the city. Through site analysis, I recognized Eulsukdo as the boundary between the city and nature, as it serves as a bridge connecting the city and nature as well. In addition, I thought that Eulsukdo is a place where migratory birds rest in the south and people rest in the north based on the Hagutduk, so the power of the earth is very great. So this land was chosen.

Cemetery facilities are essential in modern society, but they are classified as disgusting facilities, and they are built in places that are not easily accessible from the city and away from us as much as possible.

In fact, a graveyard is a place where our loved ones are buried, and I thought that rejecting a cemetery facility would be the same as rejecting someone I love. I thought that the main reason for this appearance was that the cemetery was visible. So, I propose an invisible tomb, a memorial park that uses only the long-distance method called 'Sangoljang'.

*Sangoljang : A method of scattering or burial of the deceased's cremated ashes in a mountain, river, sea, or a designated place, etc.
